We are in an odd-looking building near WalMart, across from the 7-11 on Skaha Lake Road. As the sign outside says “Church is more than a building”. Even so, we’ve made it quite inviting inside! Come on in and check it out during office hours, a weekday event, or a Sunday service.
There is a transit stop nearby.
If you are driving from Skaha Lake (south of Green Ave), you can enter the parking lot directly from Skaha Lake Road. If you are driving from central Penticton, turn onto Green Ave West then Wilson (see map below), and enter the lot from the back. Parking throughout the lot is free.
Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Food Cupboard Hours

During any given week, we host a variety of events. These include (but are definitely not limited to) crystal singing bowls meditation; SoulCollage; Living Compassion discussion circle; book clubs; prayer shawl crocheting; centering prayer; harm reduction kit building; reflection circles; singalongs; dancing lessons; ecstatic dance; movie nights; PFLAG; potlucks; social justice presentations; and so on. Details on some of these are offered on our 'Passions' page. Everyone seeking peace is welcome at all events. To find out when the next instance of your preferred event is, please contact us. To receive word of all events, every week, please ask to receive Oasis’ weekly e-newsletter.
The building is also host to additional, independent community programs such as Al-Anon and IANDS (Near Death Experience) Okanagan.
Coffee (again!) 11:15am-12pm
On Sundays, volunteer greeters are available to you at the front door. If you feel comfortable doing so, please let us know that you are visiting or new, so that one of us can orient you to the building, show you to the washrooms and coffee, make you a temporary name tag, and so on—whatever you need to help you feel at home.
